Emmons, Dudley Glenn, 80, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014.

Dudley was born April 6, 1934, to Bennett and Jennie (Stuteville) in Okeene, Oklahoma. He attended High School in Newkirk Oklahoma. Dudley served his country in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Salina, Rapid City, Cheyenne as well as Riverside. He was a crew chief on a P51 Mustang crew. he was united in marriage to Roena Mahin on January 9, 1954 in Arkansas City. He was later united in marriage to Virginia Nellas in Cebu City, Philippines. Dudley lived most of his life in the Cambridge area and was a lifelong farmer. Dudley was also a machinist for Boeing and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing he also liked to shoot and loved his pond.

His survivors include his wife Virgie of the home; children Darin Emmons of Wichita, Kansas, Cynthia and husband Glen of Haviland, Kansas, Trisha Emmons of Arkansas City, Kansas, Airman 1st Class Jake Emmons of Holloman, New Mexico; brother Daryl and wife Judy Emmons of El Dorado, Kansas; sister Darlene and husband Norman Fry of Arkansas City, Kansas; brother in law Don Nelson of Arkansas City, Kansas; 3 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dudley was preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty, brothers Jerry, Roger and Keith.

Visitation will be Friday, April 11, from 6-8 p.m. with viewing from 1-8 p.m. at the Dunsford Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 12, at 10:30 a.m. at the Atlanta Corner Stone Christian Church with interment to follow at the Latham Cemetery.

Memorials have been established with the Corner Stone Christian Church as well as Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in care of the funeral home.
