Dorothy Juanita (Wright) Russell, 70, of Udall, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015.

Dorothy was born on June 27, 1944 in El Dorado, Kansas to Evert and Gladys (Thompson) Wright. She married Clifford Russell on August 21, 1961. Dorothy was a Payroll Clerk for the State of Kansas. She enjoyed painting, reading, fishing, sewing and other crafts.

Her survivors include her husband of 53 years, Clifford; her son, Chad and his wife JoAnn Russell of Wichita, Kansas; brothers Everett and his wife Kitty Wright of Montezuma, Kansas, Robert and his wife Ruby Wright of Great Bend, Kansas, and Rex Wright of Arkansas City, Kansas; grandchildren Krystal and her husband Shea Obermeier of Russell, Kansas, Katie Russell of Pittsburg, Kansas, and great-granddaughter Lily Obermeier.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, sons Clifford Jr. and Timothy, daughter Janice, sister Doris Hendrix, and brother Martin Wright.

Visitation will be Monday, March 2nd, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. with family being present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 3rd at 2:00 p.m. at the Dunsford Chapel in Augusta. Internment will take place at the Douglass Cemetery, Douglass, Kansas.

Memorial donations may be made out to the National Kidney Foundation and may be left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
