Dora Jean Bond, 81, passed away on December 3, 2016.

Dora was born on August 10th, 1935 in Pattenburg, Missouri to Lawrence and E. Lenora (Eaton) Van Dyke. Dora married Eugene Bond on April 25, 1955 in Wichita, KS. Dora was a hairdresser for over 50 years. She enjoyed ceramics, pigs and going to church. Dora loved life and her grandsons.

Dora is survived by her son Joel Bond and wife Pam of Augusta; grandsons Cody, Tyler and Branden; step-son Larry Bond and wife Ruthie of Wichita;
brothers Jack Van Dyke and wife Ruth, George Van Dyke and wife Thelma; numerous nephews and nieces; and great-nephews and great-nieces.

Dora is proceeded in death by her husband Gene and her mother Lenora.

Viewing will be Wednesday, December 7th from 1-5pm. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, December 8th at 10:00 am, both at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta. Graveside will be on Thursday following the funeral service, at 12:00 pm, at Resthaven Cemetery in Wichita, KS.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to True Church of The First Born, Wichita, Kansas, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
