Dixie Lea (Cochran) Adkins, 70, passed away on January 6, 2018.

Dixie was born on September 8, 1947 in  Wichita, Kansas to James and Jessie (McClain) Cochran. Dixie enjoyed gambling, playing cards, camping and fishing. She loved her family very much.

Dixie is survived by her children, Tina and husband Jamie Sawyer of Towanda, Kendra Adams of Towanda, Troy Adkins of Towanda; siblings Jim and wife Deana Cochran of Andover, Mike and wife Kiley Cochran of Douglass, Nancy and husband Ron Howard of Douglass, grandchildren Chad, Chris, Whitney, Samantha and Dalton; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Braylen and Mason; numerous nieces and nephews.

Dixie is proceeded in death by her parents, husband Bob Anderson, children's father Victor "Vic" Adkins, brothers Ivan Standefer and Bill Standefer, sister Marsha Cochran.

Viewing will be Thursday, January 11 from 12-2 p.m. Funeral services to start at 2 p.m.  at the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to help with funeral expenses, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
