Dick Young, 64, passed away on July 15, 2017.

Dick was born on April 21, 1953 in El Dorado, Kansas.  On July 3, 1972, Dick married Carol Reed in Independence, Kansas.  Dick had previously worked as a Machinist Crew Chief in Experimental Flight Test for Beech Aircraft.  He enjoyed farming and car restoration and loved his family.

Dick is survived by his wife Carol of the home; son David (Lauree) Young of Augusta, KS; daughter Caressa (Kellen) Potter of Augusta, KS; grandchildren Cammaya Potter and Keithhan Potter; mother Glenda Webster of Owassa, OK; brothers Wayne (Cindy) Webster of Tulsa, OK, Royce (Sue) Webster of Marion, KS, Kevin Webster and Kelly Webster both of Tulsa, OK; sister Faye Webster of Owassa, OK.

Dick is preceded in death by his fathers Harold Edwards and Bill Webster; sister Barbara Sexton.

Visitation with family will be on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 6-8 p.m.  Funeral Service will be on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 10 a.m.  Both will be held at Dunsford Chapel in Augusta. Interment will take place at the Elmwood Cemetery using the Ohio Street entrance.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to Grandchildren's College Fund, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
