Augusta – DeRonna Rae Moore, 63, passed away on Thursday, March 5 ^th , 2020.

DeRonna was born on Thursday, February 14, 1957 in Chateauroux, France to Gary Moore and Movita (Vernon) Forrester.  DeRonna liked to stay busy.  She enjoyed puzzles, playing cards and Yahtzee, and working in her flower bed.  DeRonna loved her family and spending time with her grandkids.

DeRonna is survived by her mother Movita Forrester of Augusta; daughters Kym and husband Peter Ratcliffe of Wichita, Marcia Barnett of Augusta; grandchildren, Serena and husband Clay Smith, Seth Barnett, Gracie Corbett, Annabelle Ratcliffe and Penelope Ratcliffe; great-grandchild Declan Smith; and her sister Denice Maness; step sisters Lisa Grist, Linna Buser, and Cheryl Alley and step brother Kim Forrester.

DeRonna is preceded in death by her father, step-father Charles Forrester, brother Dean Moore, nephews Shawn Maness and Keith Moore, and great-nephew Ryan Moore.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 9 ^th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 10 ^th at 10:00 a.m. both at the Dunsford Funeral Chapel in Augusta. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery also in Augusta.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the American Heart Association, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
