Wichita - Dennis Michael Murrey, 73, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015.

Dennis was born June 13, 1942, to Kenneth "Friday" and Eileen (Smith) Murrey in Wichita, Kansas. He graduated from Wichita State with a Bachelor's in Education. He had been a teacher and had also worked for Mobile Refinery. He had served in the Army National Guard. He loved baseball, bowling and all sports.

He is survived by his sons Goeff Murrey of Wichita, Kansas and Scott Murrey also of Wichita, Kansas; brother David Murrey of Wichita, Kansas; nephew Austin and wife Chelsea Murrey of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and grandchild Braylie Murrey.

Graveside memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 10 at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta, Kansas.
