Dennis Brewster, 54, passed away in Andover at Kansas Medical Center on Tuesday, July 22, 2014.

Dennis Keith Brewster was born February 12, 1960, to Glen and Geraldine (Allen) Turk in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated in 1977 from Martinsville, Indiana High School. Dennis served his country in the United States Air Force. He was united in marriage to Mary Van Court on February 1, 1985, in Long Beach, Mississippi. He worked as a flight mechanic at the Augusta Airport and was a partner of JD Aviation.

His survivors include his wife, Mary Brewster of Augusta, Kansas; his sisters, Cindy Shanle and husband Brian of Huron, Ohio; Beth Johnson and husband Carl of St. Cloud, Florida; Meichelle Ollis and husband Donald of Erwin, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Norman Allen.

Military memorial services will held be Friday, July 25, at 10:00 a.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta, Kansas. Following the memorial service a reception will be held until 12:00 noon.

A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
