Denise Lynn Sharp, 53, of Augusta, Kansas passed away on Thursday, August 25th, 2022.

Denise was born on May 1st, 1969 in Wichita, Kansas to Walter and Jackie (Sawtelle) Sharp. Denise was a treasure to each and every person who knew her. She enjoyed traveling, baking, hosting, snuggling with her dogs, going to the Sharp family Lake House in Oklahoma, and attending KSU football games. Most of all, though, she enjoyed spending time with her three daughters – Madison, Natalie, and Katie. Denise was very involved in her church, Augusta United Methodist Church, which she attended all her life. She was also very involved with her local community in various organizations. Denise will be remembered for her generosity and servant's heart to all she encountered. She loved Jesus and we can't help but imagine her in her eternal home rocking Emma and chatting away with her mom.

Denise is survived by her children, Madison (Grant) Parker of Augusta, Natalie Rockers of Kansas City, Kathryn Rockers of Manhattan; father, Walter Sharp of Augusta; brother, Craig (Nicole Kennedy) Sharp of Wichita; sister, Sherry Currie of Andover; brother, Doug (Sharon) Sharp of Seattle, Washington; nieces, Kelley (Cody) Reed and Kristen Currie; nephews, Chase Sharp, Zach Sharp, and Joey (Jessica) Currie; and aunts, uncles, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Denise is preceded in death by her mother, Jackie, and her daughter, Emma Brooke.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 28 ^th from 3-5 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 29 ^th at 11:00 a.m. both at the First United Methodist Church in Augusta.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions to be made out to the Augusta United Methodist Church, left in care of Dunsford Funeral Home.
