Delores Ione Alexander, 82, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024.

Delores was born on Monday, June 30, 1941 in North Platte, Nebraska to Glen Lair and Marie Oleta (Schrecongost) Ankenman.

Delores was united in marriage to James Milton Alexander on May 30, 1992 in Littleton, Colorado. They were married for over 29 years until James' passing in 2021.

Delores enjoyed crocheting, reading, yard work, traveling, watching her grandkids play sports, and baking birthday cakes. Most of all Delores loved spending time with her family.

Delores is survived by her sons, Mark (Annie) Davis of Rose Hill, KS and Troy (Stephanie) Davis of Derby, KS; daughters, Connie Walls of Wichita, KS, Beth Little of Wichita, KS, and Jill (Darren) Davis of Haven, KS; step-son, Kenny (Kim) Alexander; brothers, David (Jacque) Ankenman of Arkansas, Steve (Cheri) Ankenman of Washington, Bruce (Diana) Ankenman of Washington, and Brian (Amy) Ankenman of Washington; Sisters, Glenva Colligan of Kansas, Carole Spurlin of Louisiana, and Linda (Ron) Forest of Montana; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Delores is preceded in death by her parents; husband James Alexander; grandchildren, Tiffanie and Gregory Davis; and son-in-law, Duke Walls.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 19th at 10 a.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
