Andover – Delfin Joseph "Sam" Beltran MD, 92, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020.

Sam was born on Tuesday, October 16, 1928 in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin to Pedro Joseph and Ester (Harrmann) Beltran.  Sam advanced to the top of Boy Scouts of America as a teen earning all of his badges.  He loved bird watching and photography.  Sam had served his country in the U.S. Air Force.  He later worked as an Anesthesiologist with practicing privileges at Ascension Via Christi-St Francis and St Joe and Wesley hospitals.  He retired December 31, 2004.  Sam married Michelle Rice on November 2, 2013 in Andover.

Sam is survived by his wife Michelle and her daughter Emma; his son's Christopher Stephan Beltran of Arkansas and Erik Peter Beltran of Colorado; daughters Ann Elizabeth Beltran Willgrube (Dave Egner) of Washington, Sarah Marie Beltran of Minnesota and Heather Suzanne Beltran Rahael of Florida; grandchildren Nicole, Travis, Hadley, John, Dylan and Madison; and great-grandchild, Micah Kubow; step-children Roger (Marnie) Parrish-Siggelkow, Midge (Tim) Mogck, Julie (Brian) Swedburg; step-grandchildren Erin, Nora, Ry, Peter, Jordan, Rachel, Charlie, Hannah, David, Zachary, Jonathan and Samantha; daughter-in-law Helen Siggelkow.

Sam is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Roman Pedro Beltran, his former wives Elizabeth Ann Bongsto, Linda Suzanne Thompson, Sylvia Jane Siggelkow Beltran and her son Don Siggelkow.

A family held Memorial Service will be on June 21, 2021 at the First Baptist Church, 1501 State Street, Augusta, KS 67010 at 2:00 p.m.  For those who will not be able to attend and would like to watch on Facebook live the link is https://www.fbcaugustaks.org/ A reception will follow the service in the church's Friendship Room.  A private casting ceremony will be held at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, 1208 N. College Street, Winfield, KS 67156 June 22, 2021 at 1:30 p.m.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the Prader-Willi Association, Robert J. Dole Veterans Administration-Hospice, First Baptist Church - Missions, or World Vision, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
