Sowards, Debra Darlene (Walty) 46, CNA, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012.

Visitation with family greeting friends will be held at Dunsford Funeral Home on Friday, November 30, from 5-7 p.m. Funeral service will be on Saturday, December 1, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Augusta. Interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery, in Augusta.

Debbie was born August 29, 1966, to Larry and Linda Walty in Wichita. She married Kurt Sowards on April 21, 1984, in Topeka.

Her survivors include her husband Kurt of the home; son Kristopher (Andi) Sowards of Wichita; daughter Kayla (Marc) Wall of Augusta; mother Linda Walty of Andover; brother Larry (Stephanie) Walty, II, of Andover; sister Paula (Greg) Palmer of Wichita; grandchildren Landen Wall and Adyson Sowards; many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and her dog Sadie.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father Larry Walty.

A memorial has been established with Rainbows United in care of the funeral home.
