Debra Sue Slavik, 65, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024.

Debra was born on Sunday, May 3, 1959 in Boston, Massachusetts to Elmer J. and Carol S. (Hastings) Barr.

Debra was united in marriage to Richard Slavik on March 27, 2004. They were married for 20 years until Debra's passing.

Debra received her Bachelor's Degree in Business from Friends University. She worked many jobs throughout her life, some of them include working Human Resources at Boeing and being an Admin Manager in a bank.

Debra loved her family and friends and made many memories baking, traveling, and supporting them in all their endeavors.

Debra is survived by her husband; step-son, Kirk Slavik of Violet Hill, AK; foster child, Sara Gill; brother, Rod (Tracy) Barr; nieces and nephews, Jessica (Rhett) Mallon and children Gentry and Beau, Braxton Barr, Jovonne Barr and daughter Rosella, and Jadyn Barr; and friend, Melissa Jones.

Debra is preceded in death by her parents.

Family held Memorial Service will be on Saturday, September 14th at 11:00 a.m. at River Lawn Christian Church in Harbor Chapel (4243 N Meridian Ave. Wichita, KS 67204).
