Debra (Christensen) Merle, 60, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014.
Debra was born September 17, 1953, to Grant and Marcia (Mcintyre) Christensen in St. Anthony, Idaho. Debra graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1971 and went on to earn an Associate in Criminal Justice. She was an in home caretaker and worked for the department of Labor. Debra enjoyed casinos, camping and off road mudding. Debra was a gunsmith and she loved guns.
Her survivors include her mother, Marcia Christensen of Blackfoot, Idaho; daughter, Stephanie and husband Michael Paris of Augusta, Kansas; brother, Mack and wife Beth Christensen of Blackfoot, Idaho; sisters, Gayle and husband Michael Merlette of Blackfoot, Idaho, Cathy and husband Roy Hjelm of Blackfoot, Idaho; and 7 grandchildren.
Debra was preceded in death by her father, and her daughter, Denise Bone.
Debra's final wishes were preformed by the Dunsford Funeral Home, and celebration of life services will be Monday, September 8, starting at 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the American Legion Hall Post #23 in Blackfoot Idaho.
