Debbie Kay Holmes, 71, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025.

Debbie was born on August 2, 1953 McPherson, Kansas to Roger William and Patsy Joann (Call) Chrislip.

Debbie was united in marriage to Larry Holmes on August 25, 1972. They were married for 52 years until Debbie's passing.

Debbie worked for Augusta Auto Salvage as the office manager for 30 years.

Debbie enjoyed going to church most of all. Debbie's love for church showed every day, she took pride in attending church and going to as many events with them as possible. She also enjoyed spending her time bowling, singing, and traveling. Debbie loved spending time with her family every holiday.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Larry Holmes; daughter, Lorena (Jeff) McReynolds; grandchildren, Matthew (Skylar) Vance and Kayla Canedy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Kathy and Theresa.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 2nd from 5-7 p.m. at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church of Augusta.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the First Southern Baptist Church, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
