Augusta – David Lee Maggard, 65, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021.

David was born on Wednesday, June 15, 1955 in El Dorado, Kansas to Samuel and Wanda (Manning) Maggard.  He had previously worked as a welder in the forklift driver in the air conditioning industry.  He loved to fish.  David especially loved his dogs Rusty and Remy.

David is survived by his son Justin (Lena) Maggard of Augusta; daughters Melody (Tracy) Thompson of Moran, Michelle Maggard of New Hampshire;; 20 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; niece Erin (Lafe) Kern and nephew David Davis; numerous extended family; close friends Ronnie and Gary Fisher.

David is preceded in death by his parents; and his sister Mary Lou.

Graveside Service will be on Thursday, January 28 ^th at 10:00 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.
