Darren Edward Favart, resident of Augusta, Kansas, formerly of Rose Hill, Kansas passed away on Monday, July 15, 2019 at the age of 54.

Darren was born on Thursday, December 10, 1964 in Wichita, Kansas to Eugene and Joanne (Mosburg) Favart. Darren was employed at White Star Machinery after graduating from Rose Hill High School from 1986-2006 where he served as a Field Technician specializing in large lifting cranes and loaders, and as a Shop Forman. Darren was owner and operator of Independent Equipment Services specializing in repair of bobcats, cranes and loaders from 2006 to August 2014. From August 18, 2014, and at the time of his passing he was employed as a Crane Mechanic for Belger Cartage Service, Inc. of Wichita, KS.

He loved his children, family and extended family, many friends and work associates as well as camping, fishing and anything related to the outdoors. He enjoyed fixing or diagnosing repairs on many machines, cranes, skidsters, loaders, boats, tractors and motorcycles.

Darren is survived by his parents Eugene and Joanne; daughters Alycia, Renee and his son Chance all of Colorado; sister Debra (Gary) Crisler of Mulvane, KS; brother Eugene Edward Favart Jr. of Rose Hill, KS; Aunt Ruth (Don) Brooks of Carbondale, KS, Aunt Adele (Dale) Shaw and Uncle Phillip Favart all of Florida; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

Darren is preceded in death by his brother Douglas E. Favart; grandparents Eugene E. (Blanche) Favart, Eldo (Virginia) Mosburg, and Eddie (Don) Thurber; Aunt Loretta (Chellan) Kopfer, Aunt Anita (Hank) McManus; and his cousin Henry McManus.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Cedar Pointe Church located at 9221 E 31st St S, Wichita, KS 67210 from 6-8 p.m., on Monday, July 29, 2019.
