Robbins, Danny Rex, 69, Kansas Turnpike maintenance employee, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013.

Viewing will be held Monday, June 24, from 1-5 p.m. Visitation with family greeting friends will be Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. Funeral Service Tuesday, June 25, at 11:00 a.m. both in the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow in Green Valley Cemetery in Furley, Kansas.

Danny was born March 5, 1944, to Carl and Pauline (Long) Robbins. He attended the Military Academy and married Daphine (Thomas) Wingo on August 14, 1987, in Wichita.

He is survived by his spouse, Daphine of the home; mother Pauline of Montrose, Colorado; sisters, Betty Liberty of Montrose, Colorado and Montela Smith of Taos, New Mexico; step-sons, Lynn Galloway of Wichita, Billy (Kathy) Wingo of Piedmont, Oklahoma; step-daughter, Debbie (Danny) Holloway of Wichita; 9 step-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Georgia Fortney.
