Illian, Dan Roy, 93, passed away, Friday, November 22, 2013, at his daughters home in Andover.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 at Dunsford Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday, 10:00 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, 7421 SW Church Road, in Augusta. Interment with military honors will also be Monday at 3:00 p.m. in Harmony Grove Cemetery in Parsons, Kansas.

Dan was born December 12, 1919, to Edmund Henry and Ada Catherine (Elkinton) Illian in Kansas City, Missouri. He married Bonnie June Heit in 1938 and served his country in the US Army during World War II. Dan retired from TWA as a building maintenance man in Kansas City.

Survivors include his daughter and her husband, Sondra and Tom Piacenza of Andover; sister, Enid Sursely of Stewartville, Minnesota; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and a brother, Neil Illian.

A memorial has been established with Rivercross Hospice in care of the funeral home.
