Potter Cova June (Lofton), homemaker, 92 years old, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 9, 2012, at Lakepoint of Augusta.

Cova was born October 29, 1919, to Lester and Lulu (Scammell) Lofton in Carney, Oklahoma. She married Merle Allen Potter on October 29, 1936, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Her survivors include her son and his wife Edward and Darlene Potter of Leon, Kansas; daughter and her husband Norma and Jerry Wilson of Orange Park, Florida; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Cova was preceded in death by her parents; spouse Merle Potter in 2007; grandson Aaron Wilson; brothers, Roscoe, Everett and Harley Lofton; sisters, Ruth Pickett and Hazel Thomas.

Viewing will be Thursday, August 16, from 1-5 p.m. and visitation with family greeting friends and family following from 5-7 p.m. Funeral service will be Friday, August 17, at 10:30 a.m. all in the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.

A memorial has been established with the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
