Christopher "Chris" Wade McGlothlin, 50, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024.

Chris was born on Friday, November 8, 1974 in Wellington, Kansas to Watie and Bette (Schuchman) McGlothlin

Chris attended Augusta schools from grade school through high school. He graduated from Wichita State University with his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

Chris worked as a mechanical engineer for Spirit Aerospace in Wichita, Kansas.

Chris enjoyed spending his time camping, fishing, and skiing. He also participated in middle school and high school sports, such as baseball, football, wrestling, and soccer. He also watched sports on TV. Chris loved traveling and spending time with his friends and family.

Chris is survived by his parents; siblings, Kimber Knafla, Michael McGlothlin, and Kortni Blasdel.

Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Memorial services will be Thursday, December 5th at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Augusta.

Memorial donations in leu of flowers may be made out to St. Jude Children's Hospital, or First Baptist Church of Augusta.
