Charlotte Ann Jones, 61, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 in Wichita, Kansas.

Charlotte was born on Wednesday, August 29, 1962 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Charles Deacon Sr. and Dorothy "Waynette" (Vann) Deacon. Charlotte was a licensed cosmetologist and beauty consultant for many years, at one time owning her own salon, A Taylored Cut, which she named after her son, Colyn Taylor Jones. Charlotte was a dutiful follower of Jesus Christ, a dedicated mother, a loving daughter, and a loyal friend. Charlotte loved all kinds of music (especially classic rock and country), westerns and period movies, true crime stories, and spending time with her son and his partner, Abigail.

Charlotte is survived by her son, Colyn, as well as her father Charles Deacon Sr., brother Michael Young and his wife Sarah Young, and brother Charles Deacon Jr.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Dorothy Waynette Deacon.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13th from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. with memorial service starting at 3 p.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta, Kansas.
