Hart, Charlotte Dean, 88, affectionately known as 'Chot', loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010.

She was a retired school teacher from rural Butler County schools and USD 259, Chisholm Trail Elementary School.

Charlotte was born in El Dorado, Kansas to John R. and Gladys I. (Darby) Dray on September 12, 1921. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville C. and an infant son, Clifford Dean.

She is survived by her daughter Candace A. Duncan (Mike) Bethesda, Maryland, son Charles M. Hart (Karla), Andover, Kansas and daughter Cheryl L. Hart (Don Morris) Terre Haute, Indiana. Grandchildren: Benjamin Hart, Bangkok, Thailand, Andrew Hart and Reagan Hart, Andover, Kansas, Carson Morris and Paul Morris, Terre Haute, Indiana. and beloved bassett hound, 'Precious'.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Andover United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with the Andover United Methodist Church in care of funeral home.
