Charlotte Esther Cody, 84, passed away on October 16, 2024.

Charlotte was born on Thursday, April 4, 1940 in Rock, Kansas to Earl and Madeline (Ellis) Phillips.

Charlotte was united in marriage to Irvin Cody on January 14, 1960. They were married for 64 years until her passing.

Charlotte worked as a hairdresser, owning her own business. She worked doing what she loved for 30 years.

Charlotte enjoyed spending time throughout the years on Beaver Lake with her family and friends, bowling, going to Ruidoso to the horse races, and hitting the casinos. She was one hell of a cook and a person filled with lots of spunk.

Charlotte is survived by her husband, Irvin; children, Denise (Mike) Blackmore of Ulysses, Kansas, Mark (Kim) Cody of Augusta, Kansas, Alesia (Craig) Kasprzycki of McKinney, Texas, Jeff (Brenda) Cody of Wichita, Kansas, Greg Cody of St. Louis, Missouri, and Curtis Cody of Augusta, Kansas; 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Johnny Phillips.

Visitation will be Friday, October 18th from 5 – 7 p.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta, Kansas. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, October 19th at 1:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta, Kansas. Those attending should use the Ohio Street entrance.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
