Obituary

Augusta - Charles Lewis Tucker. 90, passed away on November 14, 2014.

Charles was born September 16, 1924, in Wellington, Kansas to John and Beva (Cron) Tucker. He attended School in Mulvane. Charles worked at Boeing for over 30 years and was a tool crib manager. He served his country in the United States Army. Charles enjoyed wood working and fixing things, he also built three of his own houses throughout the years.

He is survived by his sisters, Velma Haynes of Oklahoma, Margaret Cowel of Bouse, Arizona; step son Randy Gillespie of Wichita, Kansas; special friend and care taker, Nancy Speer of Augusta, Kansas.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Camilla Tucker, brother Kenneth Tucker and sister Dorothy Tucker.

Visitation will be Thursday November 20, from 1-7 p.m. with family being present from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday November 21 at 10:00 a.m. both at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Greenwich United Methodist Church, left in care of the funeral home.
