Cecil Nelson Angleton, 79 , passed away on June 25th, 2016 at his home.

Cecil was born March 27th, 1937 in Towanda, Kansas to Virgil Alvin and Nadine Stella (Pritchard) Angleton. He attended East High School in Wichita, KS and soon joined the Navy. On June 30th, 1989 in Augusta, KS Cecil married the love of his life, Joanna Rousse. Cecil was a machinist and loved woodworking, hunting, and dancing.

Cecil is survived by his wife Joanna of Augusta; daughter Paula Rongish and husband Tom of Andover, KS; daughter Christy Metcalf and husband Eldon of Augusta, KS; daughter Jenny Leasure of Wichita, KS; siblings Marvin and wife Connie Angleton of Wichita, KS, Lois and husband David Urban of Wichita, KS, Wanda and Husband Tommy Worley of Hutchinson, KS, Carol Bradford of Hutchinson, KS, Aleta Snyder of Wichita, KS, Dale Angleton of Wichita, KS, Tim Angleton of Nebraska, Gaylon Angleton of Illinois; as well as, 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Cecil is proceeded in death by his parents and daughter Rena Horn, siblings Melvin, Virgil, Darrel and Dana Angleton.

Memorials have been established with the Sedgwick County Humane Society and may be left with the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.

Memorial service will be on Tuesday, June 28th at 10 A.M. at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta.
