Candice "Candy" LeAnn Taft, 60, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024.
Candice was born in Lyons, Kansas on August 13, 1963 to Lee Roy and Virginia Lee (Snyder) DeLaughder. She was loved dearly as a Mother, Grandmother, Significant other, baby sister, aunt, and a friend to those who know her.
Candy enjoyed and accomplished several different aspects throughout her life. She worked hard to be awarded Administrative Assistant/Secretarial certificates through Butler County Community College and was part of the Phi Beta Kappa society. She enjoyed working as a librarian in El Dorado, making and selling crafts, sewing, and spending time with her grandbabies when she could.
Candice always had a big, soft, loving heart for those that she held close. She also had a genuine love for animals. She was always surrounded by many at a young age and continued to have a few of her own later in life.
Candice is survived by her daughters, Amanda Taft and Emily Taft; her grandbabies; her loving life partner, David Beltz; siblings, Janine DeLaughder, Rick DeLaughder, and Julie Wolf.
Candy is preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved brother, David DeLaughder.
