Brent Earl Wiley, 66, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026 following a sudden brief illness.

Brent was born on Friday, June 26, 1959 in Wichita, Kansas to Earl and Frances Lucille (Brown) Wiley.

Brent graduated with the class of 1977 from Rose Hill High School in Rose Hill, Kansas. He then earned a Bachelor's Degree from Wichita State University.

Within the aircraft industry Brent worked for Boeing, Raytheon, and as an independent contractor, performing both as an aircraft mechanic and also as an avionic technician for many years. Brent also worked with his Dad as a sheet metal mechanic for 30 years at Wiley's Metalcraft.

Brent loved, loved, loved being outside. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, water and snow skiing among many other outdoor activities. Brent also loved cooking and grilling for his family and friends. He was also a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Brent leaves wonderful and cherished memories with those who survived his passing; his parents, Earl and Lucille; son, Logan Wiley; daughter, Miranda Wiley; sisters, Connie Crossley and Sonya Baker; and brother, Sydney Wiley.

There will be no public viewing or services to announce.

The family will be gathering for a private family only Celebration of Life at a later date.

In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the charity of the donor's choice.
