Brenda Perez Sommer, 63, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, August 7, 2022.

Brenda was born on Thursday, May 7, 1959 in Rosario Agusan del Sur, Philippines.

Brenda was united in marriage to Stan Sommer on April 17, 1982 at St. Joseph's Cathedral, Olongapo City, Philippines. Brenda was a home maker for her family. Brenda loved fishing, cooking for and spending time with family and friends, as well as spoiling her Grandchildren. She was also the kind of person that never knew a stranger. She befriended many, and was always willing to help anyone in need.

Brenda is survived by her husband Stan; her children, Jerry Perez-Sommer, Michelle (Justin) Sommer-Randall, and Rosita (Jason) Smith; grandchildren Chantrea Otacan Hem, Phouma Sunny Hem, Dominic Dean Boucher, Oliver Dee Smith; step-grandchildren Brandon Lee Smith and Tyler (Madison) Smith; siblings Banigno Perez, Bonifacio Perez Jr., Cinderella, and Mary.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents and her brother.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12 ^th from 5:00- 7:00 p.m. at Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta.

Rosary will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 13 ^th at St. James Church in Augusta. Immediately following will be a Funeral Mass, also at St. James Church in Augusta.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the American Diabetes Association, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
