Bonnie Pearl Wiegand, 83, of Amarillo, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, in Augusta, Kansas.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 12, 2012, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel wth Rev. Greg Kinch of Southlawn Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Local arrangements are by Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta and Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, Texas.
Mrs. Wiegand was born July 8, 1929, in Pampa, Texas to Robert and Letha Crenshaw. She had a career as a dental nurse and retired from Cal Farley's Boys Ranch.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Wiegand, on June 6, 2012.
Survivors include two sons, Dan Wiegand and wife Farrel of Wichita, Kansas and Bill Wiegand and wife Debbie of Imperial, Pennsylvania; four granddaughters, Dorothy, Dana, Monica and Ashley; and ten great-grandchildren, Johna, Hunter, Philip, T.J., Bayleigh, Ashton, Kendal, Landry, Tyler and Owen.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be to Alzheimer's Association, 1400 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, Texas 79106.
