Carr, Billy Charlie 92, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012, at the Robert J. Dole Medical Center in Wichita.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. both at the funeral home.

Billy was born April 28, 1919, to Eber Charlie and Daisy Lee (Rutherford) Carr in Augusta, Kansas. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII. Billy married Viola Lucille Sanders in Newkirk, Oklahoma on December 21, 1940. He retired from Cessna Aircraft as a handformer.

Survivors include his sons Charles of Augusta, Melvin of Latham, and Ronald Carr of Augusta; Donald and his wife Kathy Carr of Benton, Kansas; daughters and their husbands Marilyn and John Busch of Augusta, and Mary and Mark Parker of Clearwater, Kansas; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.

A memorial has been established with the Robert J. Dole Medical Center, 5500 East Kellogg, Wichita, Kansas 67218 or in care of the funeral home.
