Betty Ruth Roberts, 75, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022.

Betty was born on Thursday, May 8, 1947 in Douglass, Kansas to William Austin and Willa Mae (Rush) Hendrix.

Betty was united in marriage to Allen Roberts on July 3, 1964. They were married for 41 years until Allen's passing in 2005.

Betty drove the school bus for Ark City School District before she worked at the Binney & Smith Crayola Factory for many years before working for Cessna and Boeing as an aircraft technician.

Betty enjoyed reading and loved spending her time gardening.

Betty is survived by her children, Dan (Shannon) Roberts of Augusta, Steve Roberts of Augusta, Jean (Marshal) Hull of Augusta; grandchildren, Ryan (Kenzie) and Michael Albright, Brayden and Emma Roberts (Nate Kelley), Payton Payne, Chase Hull, and Tyler Feller; great-grandchildren, Luna Payne and Aurora Kelley; siblings Willie Cook of Augusta, Lee (Jan) Hendrix of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother, Bud Hendrix; and sister, Jean Mahaffey.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 12 ^th from 5-7 p.m. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, September 13 ^th at 10:00 a.m., both at Dunsford Funeral home of Augusta. Interment will follow at the Douglass Cemetery.

The family wishes Memorial Contributions be made out to the Augusta Caring Center, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
