English, Betty Jean, 79, of Andover passed away, Saturday, November 2, 2013.

Betty was born October 7, 1934, to Lane and Wilma Faye (Kirtley) Colwell in Matthews, Missouri. She graduated from Choctaw Oklahoma High School. Betty retired as a secretary for SRS. She was an avid KU basketball fan.

Her survivors include her daughter, Rhonda McCaskill (Jeff Barkalow) of Rapid City, South Dakota; son, Richard (Amy) English of Katy, Texas; cousin, Dorendia (Gary) Bird of Haysville, Kansas; best friend, Beth Sinsel of Andover; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Albert Williams and a grandson, Weston McCaskill.

Viewing will be Thursday, November 7, from 1-5 p.m. with visitation following with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. Funeral service will be Friday, November 8, at 10:00 a.m. both in the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Bruno Township Cemetery in Andover.

A memorial has been established with the Andover Senior Center in care of the funeral home.
