Beatrice Johnson, 89, retired Boeing Aircraft worker and loving mother went home to our Lord Wednesday, May 13th.

She was preceded in death by husband Kenneth Johnson. With her strong determination and help from family, neighbor Roc Taylor, volunteers of Meals On Wheels, Dr. Jim Hildt, Margie Lillig, and folks from Serenity Home Health, she was able to live in her own home until recently. Beatrice was a southern girl, born in Arkansas in 1925 and was known to affectionately call almost everyone "hon" or "honey". She is survived by two sons and their wives, Keith Johnson (Pam Bunch-Johnson) of Benton, Ks and Bruce Johnson (Nancy Hammergren-Johnson) of Wichita, Ks. Also, four grandchildren and one great granddaughter. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to her favorite charities Kansas Humane Society and Meals on Wheels of Wichita.
