Arvada Francis Lackey's Obituary
Lackey, Arvada Francis, 93, retired secretary for Beech Aircraft, Prairie State Bank and Augusta SRS, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 6, 2010.
Arvada was born November 20, 1916, in Douglass, Kansas to Arvey Robert and Inez (Conner) Lackey.
Survivors include her nephews Robert (Shirley) Clark of Wichita, Darwin (Rita) Lackey of Augusta, John Lucas of Augusta; nieces Arleta Biggerstaff of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Ann Lackey and Debbie (Jim) Lucas all of Leon, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Dwayne and Glyn Lackey; sisters Neoma and Bethain Lackey, Iona Clark and Wylmeth Scott.
A graveside service will be held Friday, July 9, at 10:30 a.m. in Douglass Cemetery, Douglass, Kansas.
