Arthur Jones Jr, 88, of Augusta, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, in Wichita, Kansas.

Arthur was born December 12, 1929, to Arthur Sr. and Grace (McCasland) Jones in Trumann, Arkansas. He married Patsy Scott, on May 5, 1950, in Wichita, Kansas. Arthur worked for Safeway. He enjoyed playing the Mandolin and loved having barn sales. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

His survivors include his sons and their spouses, Ron and Frankie Jones of Andover, Kansas and Chester "Chet" and Dianna Jones of Edmond, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Josh (Jacquie) Jones, Zach (Megan) Jones, Tim Jones; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Addison and Bodhi; brother Jerry (Sharon) Jones of Mt. View, Arkansas; sisters Betty (Richard) Coon of Wichita, Kansas, Netty (Gary) Bond, of Tulsa Oklahoma, Wilma (Dan) Wilkinson of Reed Spring, Missouri.

Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy; parents; brothers, Bill, Jimmy Charles, Bobby and Joe; sister Pauline.

Graveside services will be Saturday September 22, at 11:00 a.m. in Dunlap Cemetery, Rose Hill, Kansas.
