Arlo Garrett, 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 28, 2011, at the Life Care Center in Andover, Kansas.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at the Canton Township Cemetery in Canton, Kansas. No Visitation is scheduled.
Arlo was born July 25, 1919, to Elmer and Grace Branton in Gypsum, Kansas. After serving his country in the United States Army during World War II, Arlo worked for Sante Fe Railroad for many years. He was united in marriage with Rosemary Lee on June 13, 1948, in Wichita, Kansas.
Survivors include niece, Nancy Dennett and husband David of Augusta, and nephews Gene Branton and wife Marva, David Branton and wife Veronica, Keith Branton and wife Laura and Lee Beene and wife Peggy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, one sister, and wife Rosemary.
