Anna Lee Burress' Obituary
Anna Lee Burress, 78, passed away on June 27, 2017 at the Baldwin Kansas Nursing Home.
Anna Lee was born on August 9, 1938. Anna graduated from Augusta High School in 1957. Anna continued her education and received her Bachelor of Science in Education from The Kansas State Teachers College of Emporia in 1961. Later, Anna continued her education and received a Master's Degree from The Kansas State Teachers College of Emporia in 1969.
Anna Lee taught Special Education at Manhattan Jr High School in Manhattan, Kansas from 1967 to 1973.
Anna Lee is preceded in death by her parents Wilma Lee and Frank A. Burress, and her aunt, Earline Burns.
Anna Lee is survived by her cousin Diana K. (Burns) Heath and Diana's children and grand-children.
Family will be having a graveside memorial service on Saturday, July 8th at the Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta, Kansas at 11:00 am.
