Anna Marie Brooks, 92, passed away on October 5, 2016.

Anna was born February 16, 1924 in Greensburg, Kansas to Bull and Pearl (Bradfield) Durham. She attended High School in Bentley, KS. In 1960, Anna married Rex Wooten in Paradise, TX. Anna had worked in home healthcare for several years. She loved crochet, sewing, making dolls and making plaster crafts.

Anna is survived by her children Eric Amerine of Georgia, Kenneth Wright and wife Christine of Corning, NY, Marie Hagler of Almagorde, NM, Annette Wright of Augusta, KS, Rexann Wood and husband Ron of Haysville, KS, Yvonne Knight and husband Jeff of Las Cruses, NM; Son-in-law Greg Wirths and wife Brenda of Augusta; siblings Shirley Wood of MO, Chris Durham of TX, Billie Kozdruy of AZ, and Lee Durham of CA; 25 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Anna is proceeded in death by her parents; her husband Rex; siblings Harold, Joann and Ella, daughter Cindy Wirths and son Gary Amerine.

Visitation will be Monday, October 10, from 5-9 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 11 at 10:00 a.m. both at the New Life Tabernacle, 1200 Henry Street, Augusta, Kansas. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, located on 109th Street North, west of the intersection of 119th Street West, in Bentley, KS.
