Ann Ellen Hall, 64, passed away at her home southeast of Augusta on Sunday, June 19, 2016. She was born January 8, 1952 to Leonard Keith and Ida Mae (Ploeger) Hooper in Hiawatha, Kansas. She married Bennie A Hall on March 13, 1977. They have two daughters, Carmen A. Webb and Donna A. Brown.
Ann graduated from Hiawatha High School, attended Kansas State University, and graduated from Emporia State Teachers College. She substitute taught in Augusta, Douglass, and Leon. She also worked at Walmart and Dillons. She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, gardening, knitting, crocheting, and reading.
She was proceeded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband, Bennie A. Hall, Augusta; her mother, Ida Mae Hooper, Hiawatha; daughters, Carmen Webb, Alamogordo, NM, Donna (Michael) Brown, Winfield; grandchildren, Dennis Webb, Peyton, Co, Chandler, Anakin, Mason, & Leo Brown, Winfield, and Laura Browning, Alamogordo, NM; sisters, Margaret (Larry) Goering, Newton, Lela (Steve) Hewlett, Valparaiso, IN and brothers Tom (Beth) Hooper, Hiawatha, and Robert (Nancy) Hooper, Chicago, IL.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 22, at 2:00 p.m. with visitation from 1-2 prior to services both at the Dunsford Funeral Home of Augusta. Graveside services will be Thursday June 23, at 11:00 a.m. the Mount Hope Cemetery in Hiawatha, Kansas.
Memorials may be made out to the Heart Association or in Ann's Name, left in care of the funeral home.
