Garcia, Angela, Antasia, 96, retired cook at Lehr's and Douglass restaurants, passed away Monday, March 14, 2011, at Lakepoint of Wichita.

Angela was born Augusta 2, 1914, to Pedro and Paula (Diez) Gonzales in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

Preceding Angela in death were her parents and her spouse Ygnacio "Shorty" Garcia.

Survivors include her sons Frank Garcia of Douglass, Gus Garcia of Augusta and Thomas (Beverly) Garcia of Wichita; daughter Reymunda (Frank, Sr.) Ornelas of Wichita; 12 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be held Thursday, March 17, at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Funeral Mass will be Friday, March 18, at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Augusta. Interment to follow in Douglass Cemetery.

A memorial has been established with St. James Catholic Church, 1010 Belmont, Augusta, Kansas 67010.
