Albert Rudolph Paluch, 88, retired engineer, passed away, Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Via Christi St. Joseph Medical Center.
Albert was born December 16, 1922, to Joseph and Pauline Monica (Surlak) Paluch in New York, New York. Al attended Monticello High School and Kansas State University. After graduation he worked as a Engineer for Boeing in Wichita.
He served in the U.S. Air Corp in the South Pacific during World War II. Returning to marry Donna Davenport on June 10, 1949, in El Dorado, Kansas.
Survivors include his spouse Donna of the home in Wichita; son Christopher Paluch of Fort Smith, Arkansas; daughters Theresa (James) Swinney of Kansas City, Kansas and Carol Paluch of Cedar Hill, Missouri; a sister Anne Wendall of Stuart, Florida; and two grandchildren.
The rosary will be held Thursday, April 28, at 9:30 a.m. and Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. both at All Saints Catholic Church. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta, Kansas.
A memorial has been established with All Saints Catholic Church, 3205 East Grand, Wichita, Kansas 67218.
